Eldercare…Planning, Not Reacting–Are you Overwhelmed and Under-Informed?

Save the date! On Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 6:45 pm at the New Providence Senior & Adult Center. The Coalition on Family Caregiving invites the public to a free program addressing caregivers who share the common issues of being overwhelmed and under informed when an older adult needs their help.

The panel presentation will be moderated by Susan Devaney, Owner of The Mavins Group, LLC and will feature four experts:

  • Shawn Rose, Sales Director, Spring Meadows Summit Assisted Living
  • Susan L. Pinto, Owner/Operator, HomeWell Senior Care
  • Beverly S. Anderson, Reverse Mortgage Consultant, MetLife Bank
  • Harold Grodberg, Certified Elder Law Attorney

This presentation will offer valuable information to assist you and your loved ones with life-care planning. The panel of speakers will explain ways to avoid costly mistakes, both emotional and financial, by planning now rather than facing a crisis later and unprepared. The panelists will discuss choosing the right venue for care, whether it be your home, an assisted-living facility, or a nursing home, and how to minimize the financial impact it can have on your family and loved ones. There will be a Q&A following the presentation.

There is no charge for this presentation, but please call Beverly at 973.258.1320 to reserve your spot.
